Back with another table for two setting and this time it happened at my mom’s house! Remember the pretty Easter Table I did with her china? Well, I came across her wedding china in my china hunting frenzy and couldn’t make it work with the easter brunch table but knew I had to create something with those beautiful pale colors. Adding in a bit of colorful hydrangeas and setting myself up poolside fit the bill perfectly. Enjoy yall 🙂
There they are…in all their white tux glory 🙂 Something about those sepia tones had me thinking pears – because you know I have to include fruit and veggies in my tablescapes. Lucky for me my mom had a huge pear in her kitchen for me to steal.
This sweet little Precious Moments bride and groom had to make an appearance too as they were a wedding gift to my parents many years ago.
And let’s not forget about our champagne shall we?
Just like layering plates, layering napkins is my newest obsession! And thank goodness for Loretta, one of my mom’s dear friends. When my mom’s silver napkin rings weren’t cutting it, she came right over with her bag of silver collectibles and let me have my pick.
First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes Melissa in a baby carriage! While very faint, you can just make out my name, Melissa, on the handle of my baby spoon. And yes, that reflection of myself in the silver was totally on purpose 😉
This is all about full circle connections…beginning with my parent’s wedding photo and ending with my very own. Can’t believe it was almost three years ago already.
Ooops! Look who snuck on the table. A serendipitous shot with sweet Gracie.
